100 Troops Against 150,000



During China's War of the Three Kingdoms (A.D. 207-265), the great general Chuko Liang had to defend a small town with 100 troops against 150,000 troops under Sima Yi. He told his men to hide, flung open the gates and sat on the walls playing a lute. Sima Yi, certain it was a trap, ordered a retreat.
